Hi All, can any one tell me the correct plug and socket used on nema 17 steppers, I think they are (on my steppers ) JST-XH connectors , but would like to make sure before I order them…

That depends a lot on the motor itself. Can you show a picture of the motor? I’m assuming you mean the motor side. I buy my motors usually with the wires already there.

sorry for the delay in replying, had a PC problem here is the pic the connector is about 10 mm wide by 6 mm, that is overall ie outside dimensions of the plug as attached to the stepper

Yeah, unfortunately I can’t confirm the name of those connectors even though I have one motor with that connector.

I think they might be JST XH 2.5-4 Pin connectors ??

I mean, that looks correct, but it also looks like that plug might have a ton of variance in it making it hard to track down the correct one.

Researching a bit more, it’s almost definitely JST, though so that narrows it down.
