Extruder motor running hot. I’m using a Printrbot Jr, and I’m sure there’s a way to check voltage levels, but I have no idea what they’re supposed to be at, only that my motor should not be running as warm as it is.
Just turn down the stepper driver potentiometer a little and record the results. It’s a little + sign that can be turned on the board. Anti/Counter clockwise turns current down. Voltage should be at 12v; you’re not adjusting voltage - you’re adjusting current.
