I have part in Solidworks. It wouldn’t be hard to recreate it from scratch in FreeCAD, even if STEP didn’t work well, but I’m curious whether anyone has a Solidworks gcode post processor targeting Smoothieware.
Smoothie follows the normal NIST Gcode standard. If you can find a post-processor that’s realitively basic, and doesn’t add Nxxx for each line, it should work fine with Smoothie, just show us the gcode here before using it.
