No response when using touch screen but USB command work

Hi,

I am using a SKR 1.3 board (Bigtreetech with 32 bit µC) with Soothieware and touchscreen. It works nice so far. My problem is the motor conmtrol. When I try to move the Z-axis using the move menu or homing menu I can get to the menu and select the item. But when I press the move or homing button nothing at all happens.

When I connect the board to a PC and run Pronterface I can get e.g. a Z-homing by selecting the corresponding feature.
What am I doing wrong? Is there something missing in the config file to accept an input from the TFT / touchscreen?

Since I am using the TMC2208 in UART mode is there something additional I need to add in the config file?

Best regards
Onki

I moved to Smoothie so that it’s recognized as a smoothieware question.

Hi,

The problem is solved.
I learned that the TFT32 is running its own firmware and config file. In the config the baudrate was set wrong. Now with the correct configuration I can control the motors.

Best regards
