Maker Forums has been updated to the latest release of Discourse.
Now all reactions, not only , count as “likes”, and I have applied this retroactively. Previously, the other reactions like and would show in the UI as a reaction, but would not count as a “like”
Civilized Discourse Construction Kit, the company behind Discourse, are planning to launch a feature to make Discourse communities easier to discover. They are thoughtfully making this opt-in rather than opt-out. Maker Forums is a public community and the whole point of having a forum here is to make our shared knowledge discoverable, so Maker Forums is opted in.
