Sounds great. I pick everything up on 7 May. I will start working on it shortly after that. For those interesting I am building a Northeaster Dory from Chesapeake Light Craft.

What rig do you plan to fly?
I am going with the sloop rig. I am much more familiar with the sloop rig. People go with the lug rig because it is simpler, cheaper and more romantic. I have only ever sailed sloops though. I used to race Lasers and very large racing yachts when I was in college in the SF Bay Area.

My dad was once a competitive Force 5 racer and taught me to sail in his Force 5. Cat-rigged with all the ropes… With traveller, vang, outhaul, and downhaul, we could really sail close to the wind.

Those are pretty close to a Laser. I loved racing dinghies.
