Hi all : here is a knife sharpener that I have just designed and laser cut.
It’s easy to build and incredibly cheap !
Using a linear ball bearing, it is also very accurate and smooth.

When we bought a really good sharpening system, I decided it would be my task to sharpen our knives weekly. That lasted until I noticed blood all over the (dark) counter, and I discovered that a razer-sharp knife just sitting on the counter had painlessly made a rather large cut in the side of my finger at some point, and it was just starting to sting.
