Would +Peter van der Walt or anyone else like to try using laserweb on their 3D printer with the experimental variable speed control option set, manually turn on their hot end to a good temperature, put it down to a block or wood, run the gcode and see what you get? I have this weird theory that the speed control may be enough to render an image on a block of wood using the heat from a hot end.
