When it comes to charging the tablet/phone while printing with gcodeprintr I always recommend devices with a dedicated charging port. However I just found another alternative: Devices which support wireless charging (Qi) should work fine while printing as well. I tested with my Galaxy S7 and it works fine (using a 9$ Qi charger). Nexus 7 seems to have Qi support as well.
