Indeed @Ivan_Hoe I’d like to learn your procedures. I tried clear glass, and glass with glue stick, hairspray, and combo but except for a couple low profile objects they all lift off. I know several printers strongly prefer clear glass. Just want to know what makes mine fail.
@Frederik_Van_Melle if they sell by 25-pack, the plate must have rather limited life. Any word/experience about that?
Halo @Frederik_Van_Melle , @whackyhack , to be honest, I only successfully printed once on the Ares on the glass plate that came with it. No blue tape used. Filament came with the Ares.
It was 1 item; the cabin roof (printed lying flat on the glass plate) of the Kon-Tiki:
The print stuck on the glass plate, effect was good, it befitted the image of the rugged roof.
Though by the usual standard, others may say that there’s extrusion problem with the print.
@Ivan_Hoe If your keyboard is typical, the roof is much larger in area than 3DBenchy. Without tape, all I managed were 20x20x10 cubes. Tried 3DBenchy several times but each failed.
