What is the max temperature of the brushless motor and at what temperature does the plastic begin to melt?

It’s a thought I had but brushless motors geared correctly will probably not heat up too much (stay cool to the touch).
If you print the motor mount from PLA you’ll need it to stay cooler than if you print out of ABS.

I think i can isolate the motor from the chasis with asbestos and on the top of the motor i can mount a cooling heatsink. If not geared corectly it can easily reach over 90 Deg Celsius

Abs doesn’t melt until around 200C. But it does get softer at lower temperatures. The glass transition temperature is around 105C. That is the point where the plastic begins to change and 200C is when it is fully melted. So ABS should be fine under normal conditions. It will still be pretty tough in the 130c.
