Went a bit red neck hack-ish on the extended x axis. Forgot to print something to mount the metal bed to - D’oh!

So, the pillow blocks were printed weeks ago, but the plywood was a last minute creation. (Like the popsicle stick clamped and wedged in place to trip the X axis home sensor?)

Now that it is back up and running I have 105mm usable along the X axis. The bars will support 250, but I need to print proper mounts for the metal bed (which is only 180?).

I would rather be a red neck than a lawyer or a politician. Of course I am spoiled by high speed internet and live an hour away from a big downtown city scene, but hey, I just had to put that out there. There is nothing wrong with being redneck and improvising.

Redneck works, and the printrbot simple makes any hack pretty easy. nice job

@Steven_Hauser heh. “Redneck works”. Yeah…that’s for sure. I think Redneck by definition is someone who works hard outside and gets a red neck.
