Hey guys, first time posting here, sorry if this was already answered somewhere else.
I always used Corel Laser. Recently I tried switching to k40 whisperer, to use open-source software. I’m using the same settings, but now I need to cut twice to cut through, while in Corel Laser I could do with only one pass. Did I set something wrong? Do you guys have any tips?
K40 Whisper does not effect power output. So if your power setting on the laser is the same and your cutting speed is the same it should perform the same. Are your cut lines set to Red? The only thing I can think of software wise is if your cut lines are not red then it could be using a faster speed.
