Tried dyeing 618 Nylon using turmeric in warm water. Probably not the cheapest method, but it looks pretty good after about 2hours.
That’s quite a nice yellow.
Tumerics OK price wise, at least it wasn’t done with Saffron.
we throw old spices away every 4-6 months, their value as dyes may not degrade as quickly as flavor. Turmeric, curry, cumin,paprika,cayenne, who knows.
Worth a shot then if you have it spare & available.
Spinach, Beetroot & Carrot come to mind.
