This was written with not much code and uses some cool FastLED functions, such as inoise8, beatsin8, nblendPaletteTowardPalette, ColorFromPalette, EVERY_N_SECONDS and EVERY_N_MILLISECONDS. Again, no nested loops or blocking delays. Code is in the youtube link.

Looks great! Thanks for sharing.

Looks good…Who is the music? Nice effect

@Jack_Keeney Namaste Audionautix

Beautiful, thanks for sharing! What are the LEDs in? It’s a great diffuser.

@Jason_Coon They’re in a yellow pool noodle. Think I can get white pool noodles in Canada? If I can, they haven’t been showing up on my Google searches. The one from http://amazon.com has a $45 shipping cost from the US.

Ah, brilliant! :slight_smile: I’m going to have to try that.

@Andrew_Tuline it also looks absolutely awesome in a ring lamp! Where would a good spot to inject variables coming from an MSGEQ7 ?

@Juergen_Bruegl I would experiment and see what works and what doesn’t. I’ve got several routines that I’m trying to inject raw sound into. Some are awesome, and others need work.

This is really cool. can’t believe it’s done with such little code. I need to experiment with more with FastLEDs functions. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, i was looking for a code like this. This was very helpfull…

I could watch that thing all day lol
