This miight be a "duh" question,

This miight be a “duh” question, but where should I extract a .zip file to? I suspect thhat my include files are not in the correct area, A simple snipet won;t compile. It had an #include “FastLED.h” and I suuspect the include file is in the wrong ddirectory.

Extract to Documents/Arduino/libraries, and rename the directory to FastLED (remove the ‘-master’ part from the name). More detailed instructions: https://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/Libraries
