This is a preview of my Z axis spindle mounting plate. I designed it using Designspark 2.0 mechanical ( free program) Then I had a friend machine it for me with his CNC and then anodized. It is made from 7075 aerospace grade alloy. It has different mount holes for 1605 type ball screws from 100 to 250 mm. The design uses 16 mm fully supported linear rails ( not fitted ) and SBR16 linear bearings. The stepper motor 17 or 23 size mounts on the back and couples via pulleys and a belt.

@Eugenio_Villaverde Thank you Eugenio the anodizing is to increase corrosion resistance and the Gold color looks better to me than other colors ( personal choice).
