These are the TMC2130 that come without headers. How does the solder job look?
The 4 pins on top is the SPI.
Also notice the placement of the heatsink. Any suggestions to test with a multimeter before powering them up?

That looks great. Guess you could check for a short between any pin and the adjacent pins, and any pin to the heat sink, and any pin to near by exposed pads. Nothing in the photos suggest there might be a short though it’s worth checking.

Your soldering job looks better mine. Bought heat sinks too, have to add them… @Thomas_Sanladerer inspire you as well?

It’s the diagnosis pin used for triggering the endstop if using StallGuard :slight_smile:
