There was a bit of a misunderstanding between Mrs and I, this evening.
She asked me to print her a 4 inch dia circle. I fired up Inkscape, drew a 4" circle, and hit print. When I handed her the paper she looked at me like I was an idiot.
“I meant THREE-D print”, she said.
She does understand that a circle, by definition, only has two dimensions, right?
you should inform her of the awesome cool cylinder ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cylinder_(geometry) ).
And that’s the best MAKER_FAIL i’ve seen so far; good work
These things happen when there is a miscommunication… about the number of dimensions.
be thankful she didn’t ask you to print her a gun afterwards
The good news is, the 4" dia x 2mm thick disc I did print for her was my first ABS print since installing my heated print bed and it came out beautifully flat.
