I know a couple of Russian words and I noticed GrblGru sounds almost like Grubuyu (Грубую) which means rough in Russian. I wonder if it was an intentional play on words.

The one thing I know is that it is preferred not to have the typo “Grblguru”
Nice story, but very far from reality.
Here’s the real story.
First I came up with lots of great names and then looked on Google to see if the name had already been used for something else.
You wouldn’t believe how many toothbrushes, socks, dog leashes, etc. have great names 
So I asked my kids for a good name … while they were watching “Despicable Me” on TV
