so i just got a raspberry pi and im pretty excited about it what do you guys suggest for using it im brand new at it so dumb question can i use fast led with it?
Short answer: No.
Long answer:
Direct usage of the library with the Raspberry Pi is not supported.
You can use the FastLED library with different microcontroller chips (i.E. Arduino compatible boards), these in turn can be connected to the Raspberry Pi (over USB or the GPIO pins) to control colors or animations.
Lame I figured tho I’m so used to fast led on arduino now pi will b annoying haha
Use your newly acquired pi for an in car XBMC media station instead!
im thinking of doing that but i also like messing with it its quite interesting, a nice cheap little computer
