So after 7 failed attempts at getting my Simple Pro to print Via 7 different versions of Cura, I decided to try Repetier-Host. And Voila! It now prints via USB. Looks like I am learning a new software for 3D printing. Will keep using Cura on my custom large format, and my 4 Di3’s

What electronics/firmware is it running? Printrboard?

Update…Repetier is rocking with my Printrbot Simple Pro. I missed having my Pro in the printer farm. Life is good again. I actually like Repetier better than Cura. Will switch all my printers to it.

Personally I don’t print from my PC. I Always just use an SD card. This way it’s totally separate and my printer has a resume function in case the power goes out and I don’t think it works if you print via usb.

Can’t do that with a Printrbot Simple Pro. It was cloud based, USB is the only option now that the cloud is gone :frowning:

Yes just trow the tiny g board and get duet wifi and you will be happy again

Repetier is working perfectly with it, so no need to change the board.
