It’s been lightly raining most of the day, so I’ve busted out a bunch of custom luggage tags for an order. Laser cut and engraved from 1/8” birch ply with a gloss lacquer finish and a purple painted back. Black leather buckle straps.
The Royal Order of Jesters is an organization associated with Freemasonry through the Shrine. It was founded in 1911 for bunch of good time partying people.
The character in the image is what is called a Billiken. The Billiken was something also created in the early 1900s and is said to represent happiness and good fortune. Also said to be the god things as they ought to be.
