Quick questions just to satisfy curiosity:
Is LW4 officially called stable?
As Laserweb 4 is still on version 4.0.x, is it still called an alpha?
I’d say the only “official” thing about LW4 is that they’re adding new features and fixing bugs at an incredible speed!
Having said that, I’ve been on LW4 exclusively for many weeks now, and only had minor glitches!
I’ve never used laserweb3 so can’t compare. Laserweb4 capability/features now is much better than laserdraw/corelaser plug-in that original came with the k40 laser. The stuff I can do with just a $500 laser isn’t much different than $$$$$$ Epilog. Thanks to a great program and the developers behind the scenes.
Of course with any software, there are bugs but these guys fix them fast. It’s certainly much more stable than laserdraw that always crashed on me.
Plus you get rotary functionality!!! This feature alone would require buying a expensive proprietary DSP controller that is on commercial laser units.
