I am having a blast with my new 3d printer. I had the idea of experimenting with custom leather stamps to see if it was possible. Worked way better than I thought it would.
This model is on my pinterest page (shared previously) in the form of a grey scale height map image if anyone is interested in making one of these.

I use my laser and acrylic to produce stamps. I have always worried that the ridges would transfer but your impression really impresses!

You can see the ridge lines on this stamp but I don’t think it detracts too much.
