Is there a way (like a special Gcode) to print custom message to debug console from Smoothie? More like how you get DEBUG: messages with G32 with leveling-strategy.rectangular-grid.human_readable true we get messages like DEBUG: X57.500, Y0.000, Z0.006
Looks like echo msg has been added to handle this exact scenario, I was just on time to ask this question. But I like the M118 option from Marlin and Repetier.
