Outdoor end table made from recycled enclosures from stadium lighting (one place I work does retrofits and replaced some huge wattage bulbs with huge wattage LED flamethrowers (750 watts if LED is bright)). Anyway, I used a short string of leds (leftover from one of the matrix projects) driven by an Adafruit Trinket pro (also left over from another project) and running a mutation of the demo reel. The design has a sIngle button user interface. long pushes change brightness (5 steps, off, 1,2,3,full). short button pushes toggle pattern: 16 colors + rainbow, glitter, juggle and a few simple custom ones). Love how FastLED got this working so quickly. The power draw is low enough that a battery can run them for hours.

What a great recycle creation. Nice!

Envious! Those look awesome!

added a short one made from the last cone standing.
