You are using Trinamic StallGuard feature to detect contact right?

@Florian_Ford ​ No. The probing was done with an IR sensor. I was planning on using stall guard to characterize the machine but for multiple reasons am going with an accelerometer.

@Florian_Ford ​ It was. It was just any tiny arduino with 3 analog inputs and a 3axis accelerometer board from adafruit. We are working on a drop in powered end stop replacement but this isn’t so complex.
