Great, good news!

It says this uses the SN74HCT245N and it supports driving APA102 pixels? Whats the maximum drive frequency 74HCT245N, i htought it was under 1Mhz

I’ll check the data sheet, but I drive SK9822s at 24Mhz with them

@Jeremy_Spencer really??? are you 100% sure you are driving them at that frequency?

Mormmg, @Leon_Yuhanov , yes I am pretty sure

@Jeremy_Spencer thanks im going to have to try them. I always thought they were for under 1MHZ operation

@Leon_Yuhanov , the data sheet doesn’t state a maximum frequency, it states typical transition times and delays. If I’m reading it correctly, the propagation delay across the chip is typically about 10 nanoseconds. That’s a lot of hz (1e-8), which seems too many. But definitley much more than 24000. I think it’s 100,000 Mhz, but I’m happy to be corrected.

Thanks @Leon_Yuhanov , I’ve used the same level shifter with a Tennsy3.2 and the SPI output which I’ve believe has a genuine maximum speed of 24Mhz.
