I have to wonder, though, how widely useful a wireframe would be for checking fit and function. Especially with the distortions you sometimes get from unsupported filament. Most people I know just print early drafts with minimal shells and infill.

@paul_wallich I agree with you on the fit and function uses. It wouldn’t be good for that. Best used for over shape and form drafts. There are probably a limited number of use cases for this, but I think the art applications are really cool.

Hopefully, it will be another tool in the toolbox. Just because it has limitations doesn’t mean it’s a useless tool.
