One of the members recently reached out to be for advice on what electronics to use in the 4wd Truggy. He was looking for the cheapest solution. Here is the list I gave him. While some of these aren’t the absolutely the cheapest, they are they cheapest and adequate to do the job.

Here is the cheapest electronics I’d recommend:
Remote

Servo

ESC

Motor

Each of these can be purchased from their US warehouse. Let the page sit open for a minute and they’ll pop up with a lower price on most of them.

Priceless information for the beginner. Thank you very much John.

Hi John, I am very green on this RC business so apologies if what I am saying does not make any sense. I was thinking about building a plane in the future, and I was wondering if I would be able to re-use that set then.

@omar_n_sanchez it may be possible, but generally speaking aircraft use all different electronics that are purpose built for flying. So I would not recommend trying to reuse electronics between ground and air vehicles.
