It is piece of cone which will be cut off during manual machining.
I use Draftsight. It is my tool of choice.
@Shauki Thank you! I don’t have more advance software tools than that. I would rather but new mill or lathe;)
No thermal camera is needed. All you need is multimeter with thermocouple and safety gloves.
My nozzles are made on lathe with 3 tools, 2 knives and 1 0.4 bore. Using such small bore you need lathe with 2 000 rpm capabilities. My bernardo 250V pro have BLDC motor which provides such speed.
