Bar has been back at it and this time he’s designed Maslow 4 which, if you’ve seen any NFL football games you’ve seen something similar called CableCam. That’s right, 4 cables(really geared belts) tied to the 4 corners of the frame and current sensing drivers for 4 motors on the central sled move the CNC router motor around. He’s calling it Maslow 4.
I don’t quite yet know what’s going on with the gearing around the router motor or how well it’ll handle cutting chips and dust but will be interesting to check into it as details emerge in the next couple of weeks.
