Tear it apart why don’t you :joy::joy::joy:. It’s a shame they are trying to sell something like that nowadays. The original version was about to be my first printer and I ended up building one instead. Don’t think I would be into 3D printing if I bought that one.

It just doesn’t seem like they really looked to improve much on it. The heated bed implementation is a joke and a fire hazard.

Thanks for keeping the review honest. It was entertaining.

It was my first printer and still is. It’s clearly not the best out there but back then it was well worth it’s price and it’s still producing decent prints (although I had to change the hotend twice in 3 years). I mostly printed in PLA, but I also had some functional parts in ABS printed with the Micro and some with flexible filament.
I’m now thinking about adding a delta printer to my hobby-room and MAYBE replacing the Micro with an Anet A8 (yes, I know about the fire hazard and I have looked up several tutorials on how to significantly reduce them).
Oh and thanks to a great user-base it’s no problem to hook the Micro up to a RasPi and run it via OctoPi.
