My psu suddenly stopped working.

My psu suddenly stopped working. A 1cm long screw used to attach the psu reached the pcb. Bad design… you might want to check this if you got a simular psu.

Zip ties next time

cut screw or relocate hole. But yes bad design on china’s part! :stuck_out_tongue:

3d print some plastic screws and cut a thread into them.
Turned out very sturdy for me (M5x30).

So all your printer’s electronics are now mush due to the PSU? That sucks.
Get an ATX as a replacement. It’s a little larger, but has much less potential for destruction

The diode got burnt. A new one costs about 9$, almost the cost of a new china psu
