Ladies and gentleman, were going to need a bigger power supply… High end gaming PC psu or a dedicated single voltage unit? And what’s that massive motor on the right for?
@Anthony_White , that’s a 110v heater pad. No need for a big power supply. It pulls directly from wall power. That massive motor on the right? That’s a servo. $120 servo, with a $120 geckodrive in order to power it. The Y axis is pretty beefy, and chris wants to make sure it’s 100% accurate.

You also have control over the PID values, motor overdrive, etc. Most of the extra stuff there is for connecting the encoder itself.
That looks pretty impressive! How big is the build volume going to be?
IIRC 18"x18" (that build plate covered in kapton? 4 of those)
