I think a nice feature would be the ability to select an option to view only one layer at a time.

you mean instead of painting each gcode line individually just paint layer by layer ? I guess you refer to the simulator mode and not during print

No, I mean paint out a whole layer line by line, then clear the screen and start the next layer clean. (as an option or a toggle of course)

Currently I only have experience with simulator mode, but I think it might also be useful for print mode… It may make the current clearer.

I have implemented the “one layer at a time” feature. It was pretty easy to add (less than 10 lines of code).
Will publish a new beta on the weekend
