Hey folks I have broken my nano m2 and need a replacement until my new laser comes in February.
Can I buy just the nana m3 and do a straight swap. I use k40 whisperer.
I’d also be willing to buy a second hand m2 from someone in the UK.
Yes, an M3 Nano is plug-compatible and it also works with K40 Whisperer. Leave the board setting on “M2” (i.e. don’t change anything).
Other plug-compatible Grbl/LightBurn options are Awesome Tech’s Mini Gerbil, Cohesion3D’s LaserBoard, and Monport’s 32-bit controller.
Monport’s “Nano Replacement Board” is the most basic one, but it also only costs $60. Don’t get their old 8-bit board. 8-bit processors are too slow.
