Looking for ARES 3D Scanning software.

Looking for ARES 3D Scanning software. Anyone can help me? Thanks so much in advance

Here is what I found on Easy Arts Forum:

Hi,

I am trying to use the FreeLss software to operate the scanner that came with the Ares. I’ve installed it on the Pi and I can access it through the local network, and toggle the lasers on and off, but get no response from the motor or camera. When I try ./freelss on the Pi command line, I get this error:
CODE: SELECT ALL
root@octopi:~/freelss/src# mmal: mmal_vc_component_create: failed to create component ‘vc.ril.camera’ (1:ENOMEM)
mmal: mmal_component_create_core: could not create component ‘vc.ril.camera’ (1)
Creating Mock camera, width=1280, height=960

To save settings on FreeLss it asks for an 8-digit Atlas 3D serial number located on the stepper motor, but the motor I have doesn’t have that. Is it supposed to?
The relevant section in the manual is blank.

Has anyone else got theirs working and if so, how did you do it?

Thanks in advance

Hi Michael,

Thanks so much, I found it though: "http://x.x.x.x:8888/ " xxxx being the IP address of ARES.
