I bring the following up because no matter how new you are to laser cutting, no matter what your machine is, good designs start with an object or thought to design around. In my first designs it was a 2.250 x .187 round LED light and a .5 x .1875 aluminum LED strip light that could be cut every 1.5”
My first cutter was a K40 ($300) purchased it to cut a line of RV light fixtures. We were vendors selling RV LED light bulbs out of a tent in Quartzsite AZ in the winter months.
PS: The tent was made from a 10’ diameter trampoline frame.
