I’ve been playing with Auto-level a lot here lately. Having a conversation with a gentleman made me realize how powerful of a tool this is.
I see a number of people build a small DIY CNC and attach a huge spindle. It is human (man mainly) nature that if there is the opportunity for more power, we will take it!
This conversation was about exactly that topic. Thinking on it though, if one were to use the Auto-Level of Chilipeppr, you could counter deflection in the Z on both X and Y. This doesn’t do anything for moment arms or rigidity but just a thought on how the cool feature could counter some DIY build errors.
