Is it true that people from the US primarily print ABS while Europeans prefer PLA? Or is this just an idea that inexplicably formed in mind? Maybe someone should do a poll…

unfortunately no correlation between location and material use in that survey

Europeans (including myself) have much less of a choice of filament suppliers, especially for high-end filament. I print exclusively with ABS, but only because i’m too lazy to modify my printer and get it tuned in for PLA.

I prefer ABS because i don’t want my printed objects to get sloppy if left out in the sun. example: toll pass holder on my motorcycle. would not still be here 2 years later if i’d printed in in PLA
