I’m very disappointed by the PLA from http://fabber-parts.de/shop/
I tried various print temperatures, but it always comes out somewhat rubbery and does not stick well to the heated bed. Then on the infill, it squishes the previous lines to the ugly mess you see here. Absolutely not up to par with the excellent quality I’m used to from Faberdashery…

I got my first filament from them (apart the one I got with Huxley). I also struggled for few days to get it right. In the end I increased layer height to 0.4 (act of desperation that helped  ) + I increased temperature far above what I considered normal temperature for PLA: hotend at 220°C and bed at 115°C. These values are probably still to be tweaked but it sticked to bed and I got really good print of nut&bolt from thingiverse. It is black PLA 1.75. I hope this helps …

I use their ABS and PLA (3mm) with mixed results, best temperature for their PLA really seems to be around 210, 220. I haven’t found satisfying settings for their ABS yet…

I think I give up and send it back. Any recommendations for something cheaper than Faberdashery but same quality?

Have you tried printing with your bed temperature lower or even at zero? I’ve never used any heat to help with it sticking, if anything it cooling faster will help you out. PLA takes some time to dial in so don’t give up on that spool you have!
