I’m new to this forum, all the stuff you guys are doing is awesome! I see a member here recently did a walk through of setting up laserweb, that will help a lot!

I have been into cnc’s and 3d printers for awhile, but haven’t tried anything with laser yet, mostly because I don’t know the first thing about them. Could one of the hardworking members here point me in the direction where I could learn a little more about lasers? I’m working on a new machine and would like to add laser to it as well.

I really appreciate the replies, you guys seem like a driven bunch, really getting into the programming side of things. Keep up the good work.

@Mark_Leino ​ Welcome. Look into my profile for collections on K40 upgrade and poll. I’m sure you’ll get lots of info from those.

For learning a bit about lasers, head across to the K40 Laser Engraving Community here on G+ (if you haven’t already). Plenty of good knowledge in amongst there too.
