I’m having trouble with macros - they won’t save.

I’ve been adding my own macros since I have a bowden extruder the loading and unloading of filament is a pain, but after saving and clicking close on the macro section…when I reopen it, they’re gone.

Is there something special I have to do to truly save the changes?

Strange.
Please confirm that you are doing the following steps to change a macro:

  1. open Macro dialog
  2. long press the macro slot you want to change (don’t use the first slot )
  3. change the macro name
  4. change the macro gcode
  5. press save button
  6. close macro dialog

This procedure works on all my devices.

Yup, that’s what I’m doing exactly.

Also, when I close and reopen the app all my settings are gone?

Okay so the Macro issue seems to have resolved itself, I’m not sure how… but now the app is randomly crashing? even on fairly simple designs.

What device do you have ? Which Android version and App version ?
Can you send the crash data please ?

An Astro Tab a10 running 5.1/lollipop with the newest app version (just downloaded a few days ago)

Will send crash data later today.

I see a new crash report but I’m not sure if it is yours.
The crash is caused by a corrupted configuration store. Uninstall/reinstall of the App should help.
