Im having a hard time installing a laser to the Gradus M1 board.

Im having a hard time installing a laser to the Gradus M1 board. Has anyone done this? I am connecting to Spindl power, ground, and PWM but all I can get it to do is make the fan turn on. I have yet to see anything resemblinga laser come from it. I do not have a seperate driver for the laser as I was told I did not need one since the Gradus M1 has the pwm option. The laser I have is an 8w diode laser from Endurance Lasers. Anybody’s help on this would be huge. I am out of ideas.

Maybe there is a setting in the GRBL that needs changed? Do I not have enough power? Thanks in advance

I am not completely sure, but I think you will still need a driver for it. The pwm is just a control signal sent to the driver to turn it on and off. The lasers voltage and current is limited/ controlled by the driver board. Pwm signal goes to the input on the driver, laser hooks to the drivers output along with the fans.

$32=1 and 32=0 for on off control through grbl.
