I’m about to build my second printer and wanted to hear you guys’ opinion on 3mm vs 1.75mm filament. I’ve only ever used 3mm. filament, but are there any benefits to using 1.75mm filament instead?
With a bowden setup, the pressure along the bowden tube is much easier to control with 1.75mm
Less diameter change with 1.75mm, more flexible and I find I need less heat to extrude!
