I know there are a few studies on emission particle count when 3D printing, but i don’t know of any that actually break down what exactly is being emitted. It wouldn’t surprise me if Polycarbonate was the worst of them - at least going by the smell.

I wonder if it’s out-gassing BPA. That would be unpleasant. Pretty plausible though. I have printed a lot of PC, and I hadn’t thought of that until you brought up the smell. I always assumed it was the UHU gluestick cooking.

You should test the POM filament from FFFworld.

In any case, I’m glad I have been running my ABS fume filter (organic vapor respirator cartridge based) when printing PC.
