I am using Laserweb4 with a DIY blue laser attached to my MKS 1.4

I am using Laserweb4 with a DIY blue laser attached to my MKS 1.4 board running Marlin. I can get the software working mostly, however, the laser shuts off for about a second after each move. The whole unit continues moving as if the laser is active. Then the laser turns back on part way into the next move missing the first portion of that segment. What setting in Laserweb4 do I need to tweak to change this.

Could it be a loose cable?

Maybe your board switch off the power supply of your laser driver. When the driver is switched on , there is a delay time to fire the laser. Why not let the power all the time on, and play with pwm signal in order to get more or minus fire power.

Is it normal for the Gcode to turn it off so often? Is there a setting I can change to prevent all of the M106 S0 commands?
