I am struggling to source the rods. Are people buying lengths of rod and cutting them down? Or is there a supplier that supplies specific lengths. I have messaged a potential supplier on aliexpress and waiting to hear back.

I have messaged them to see if they will create a “OpenRC” kit with reduced postage. I will post here again if I get any success.

@Morgan_Barke I’ve been selling screw kits on Etsy for the F1 car. Are the fasteners similar? If so, maybe I can put together an OpenRC Truggy fastener kit. Please let me know. Thanks.

you mean the fixing rods, not the drive parts? I got a 1m rod from local hardware store and hacksaw it so size. Was a bid of annoying since my wife and son slept just 6m far but worked out quickly and i have some spare left.
@TinkerMake I think I am now sorted for my fixing, plus I am here in the UK. It would be great too see a truggy fixing kit for others. I am really enjoying the process of this project, but sourcing some of the bits is quite laborious.
@Klaus_Daume I am going for an all metal gear train, so i think I need just the rod for wishbones. Thanks for the offer of your spare rod. I will probably easier to get the rod locally if I have to cut them down myself.
